Hi to All!

Some of you have received and others will soon receive affirmations to assist you with honoring yourself.  Why Affirmations?  Affirmations (positive ones) empower us because it assists in replacing old negative mental tapes.  However, Susan Jeffers says we must do a few things to increase the effectiveness.

1. Tell ourselves we intend to be empowered by these words

2. Repeat them (preferably outloud)  with emotion (The emotion can be quiet and intense, joyful, loving,  etc.)

 3. Remember the words are the greater truth about who we are as spiritual-human beings.

I would love to hear from you!  Let me know how you like the affirmations!

Remember to enjoy the journey!

Hi,

Forgive my  silence.  I was involved with a conference, then attended it and went out of town due to family. Next time I will share what I am up to ahead of time!

I discovered committing to  my three courses/conferences is a lot easier than I anticipated.  My commitment of going to bed between 1-1:30am is the one I am needing to recommit to.  It is an opportunity for me to see what the roadblocks are and forgive myself.   I realize the road blocks are within me.  I look forward to discovering them!

So one challenge is exciting while the other is interesting!

Are you needing to recommit?  If so remember to forgive yourself!  Forgiveness lightens your emotional load, without it we burden ourselves.  Instead of burden, let’s choice joy!  I just did!

Much joy!

Greetings Challengers! Remember this Challenge: “What Have You Done For You Lately?” is about doing something just for you that brings you joy.  Honoring yourself first by choosing one of those many things we would love to do, however, we don’t because we are busy putting others first.

So Erni select something you will do just for you.  Perhaps it is the choice to trust regardless of how things look.  In order to grow in trust a spiritual practice is needed.  So your challenge could be doing one or more of these:  prayer, reading, meditating, yoga, walking, writing, self-reflection, affirmations,  asking the tough questions of one self.  If you have a routine practice then add something new.  Writing down a new belief and a new perception about your life or situations in your life is powerful.  Read it every day until you start to accept and believe the statement.  Your mind will accept anything you tell it or fill it with.  I encourage you to do it every morning and perhaps every night!  Let us know if you choose to do it and how it is going for you!  Whatever you do pick a challenge that will bring you joy, motivate you, uplift you!

Greetings!

I have multiple challenges I am doing, so I am thinking, which one should I share.  Well, I have decided to share the top three.

Challenge One: I started a challenge before I launched the “What Have You Done For You Lately?” Challenge.  I am to attend three conference/courses this year.  I have done one, the Art of Living, which is about breath work, meditation, yoga and service.  I highly recommend it.  I will be attending my second one next weekend in Atlanta. I am going to Michael Beckwith’s Revelation. I am very excited!  The third one will occur at the end of July.  I have booked my hotel room.  So “yeh” for me!Challenge Two: This very Challenge is a challenge for me because it is an opportunity to trust this gift from Spirit in helping women engage in self-love by valuing themselves enough to do something  just for themselves.  Challenge Three: Creating a new consistent bedtime schedule.  Going to bed between 1:00-1:30 am.  This is early for me!  I am a night owl!  This has been the biggest opportunity for growth! I have had to acknowledge, forgive myself, and recommit to the new bedtime.

Have you had to recommit to your challenge?  Did you forgive yourself?  Share your journey!

Greetings Challengers!

I have been thinking a lot about the Challenge and how this Challenge is a great opportunity for self-growth and self-love.  I know this Challenge is actually a gift to each of us, yet, we have to say yes to ourselves to do the Challenge.  Just that first act of saying “yes” results in growth and self-love.

How did you feel deciding to do something for yourself?  Was the feeling a nervousness, fear, excitement, or joyful?

Being aware is very valuable and an important beginning that leads us to  creating new belief and making a better decision!

Greetings Challengers!

What you may call a small step, is a step that counts!  Each step adds to the other and will create an ultimate result.  Dr. Jill Kahn, guest for Honoring Yourself First  and author of The Gift of Taking (May archives & I Pod) uses the analogy of a muscle. Each conscious act exercises our self-love muscle or our empowerment muscle.

What small step or muscle did you exercise to accomplish your challenge? Share it!  We would love to know!

You deserve to feel great!

Awareness is such a wonderful experience!  It occurs in our emotions,  in our thinking, and even in our body!  In one word: AHA!

An “aha” that I have been jumping too fast and too high for others.  Or the “aha” that I have been giving so much to others that I have forgotten to give to me.  I applaud you for seeing what you have created in your life and for making a new choice.  Everyday is an opportunity to re-choose in order to have a clearer vision about who you are and the life  you want!

Setting an intention to increase your awareness will lead to even more “ahas”, better choices, and greater life!

What “aha” has your challenge given you?

You deserve to feel great!

For some of us the thought of putting ourselves first brings an uncomfortable feeling.  It brings thoughts such as “I can’t, that’s selfish!” or “What will others think?” or “What will my family think about me?”  Hmm not great thoughts! However, the GOOD NEWS is we are in charge of our thoughts!  Yes! We are!

So choose a new thought that will support you with your challenge.  Be your #1 supporter.  Use the reward affirmations Authentic Beauty offers.  Know you are supported by the Higher Source and by me!

Success is already occurring because the challenge has begun!

I am so excited you are honoring yourself first and taking the Challenge!

The Challenge: What Have You Done For You Lately has expanded.  In addition to doing one of the many things you put off to do for others, your challenge may be to not add projects to an already jam backed  life or to have a relationship and the first step is having a date within six weeks!  You may decide to launch a business and your challenge is to write a business plan!  Whatever you select you are supported and applauded for taking the Challenge!

Remember the ultimate reward/perk is in the journey!

Let’s support each other by sharing our challenge and our journey!!
